Faucet trouble

Mom, Dad, first one faucet started leaking at the handle... then another, so I thought I needed to change the rubber gasket.  But when I took apart the handle underneath the chrome cover all the washers both on top and underneath the sink were corroded.  Ugh.  So $89 X 3 later Im finished the first one and two more to go.  Each one takes a few hours.  Anyway thought you would get a kick on how I spent my weekend.
