One of the oldest temple in Japan with a huge tourist area built around it that included a gauntlet of stores and vendors
with every Japanese trinket and souvenir imaginable.  A block or two away from the Asakusa epicenter was residential
and life of the citizens carried on with no real sense or care of the chaos surrounding the temple.  Shop just surrounding
Asakusa seemed old and some what timeless.  Waiting for yet another visitor to browse and hopefully buy their wares.
Clothing, shoes and odd items with sizes that only fit and thin Americans could ever hope to fit.  The AM/PM, 711 and
Family Mart had great snacks and desserts including coffee jelly with heavy cream and refreshing jello fruit cups.
