Nara

To get to Nara we had to get to Kyoto station via Shinkaisen and transfer to a local JR train which runs
slower and just under an hour to Nara.  Along the way fields and rural landscapes and homes changed
the scenery from our city travels.  The Nara deer roam freely in the park and they were in abundance.
Only a fraction of the deer actually free load off of senbei biscuits from tourists.  Many are in the fields
and hills grazing on grass that seems constantly manicured.  We got our share of Nara temples,
shrines and lanterns.
