Everland, Korea

Sung Goo suggested we get out of the city and go to one
of the popular attractions called, Everland.
In concept it is similar to Disneyland but the Koreans seem to capture much more
culture into the
attraction by having weekly or monthly festivals. We were in town for the
Tulip festival and in May
they will have a Rose festival. With nearly 50 million folks in Korea it
was not surprising to see the
stream of cars and people pack their way into the park. The property is
huge and after nine hours
we did not get to see it all. Being raised in the U.S. it was different
seeing a monochromatic Asian
people park. A handful of non-Asians were easy to pick out and the food
had some Disney influence
but we had pork cutlet and bulgogi along with self serve kim-chee.
Also at Everland, there were rides
and numerous animal attractions, see the pics below.
