Deoksugung Palace

We tried to get to the Deoksugung palace at least three times but between rain and shopping we missed it until our last full day in Korea.
Its located right in the central part of down town Seoul and near Namdaemun shopping area.  It was only 1000 to get in and they
had a changing of the guard every hour but at certain times they did an elaborate guard change with a presentation of the keys to the
palace and narration in English.  The costumes are stunning along with the flags, horsemen, swords, spears and ceremony.  We caught
it at 330pm and there was a free cultural tent that allowed you to dress in traditional Korean costume.  So I did and Yum took pictures.
Inside the Palace were some large temples and grounds some of which protected by cherry blossom trees in full bloom.  The 1000
was surely worth it.
