New York May 2007

We went to New York for the weekend to meet up with my parents and aunty that were on the East coast to visit some relatives.
We stayed at the New York Buddhist church on the upper West side on River and 105 street.  It is a large church with modest
rooms and my aunt is a Buddhist from Hawaii.  We took in two shows, Spelling Bee and Mama Mia.  I really enjoyed Mama Mia
the music and singing was so fun and the ending was awesome.

We had lunch at Spice Thai Restaurant on University and 10th street South of Union Square.  They have great Thai food and the
menu has many dishes with small portions and small prices so that you can cover the table and try as much as you like.  For dinner
on Saturday we had Korean BBQ in Korea-town which is on Broadway and 32nd street.

Yum has put together a video which you can enjoy here...

Also on Saturday we went to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden which has free admission before noon.  We spent most of the morning here and took most of our pictures of the trip here.
The tulips and cherry blossoms were in bloom so get ready for flower picture overload.

Here are the Tulips....
