The Year 2004

This was a busy year!  Yum is finishing up her last year of law school at Suffolk Law School.  She was selected as executive editor of the Transnational Law Review and also is President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (Apalsa).  Next semester is graduation and studying for the bar.

Steve had to manage three weeks of class throughout the year, he is finishing up his final paper and will go in front of the certification boards early next year.  His customers took good care of him and is he having another fantastic year.

The highlight of the year was definitely the Mien Wedding in Redding California.  Steve's parents, Aunty Sets and Uncle Larry, Aunt Virginia and cousin Natalie came up from Hawaii.  His best friend David drove up from San Francisco and joined in the wedding party.  The costumes were awesome and it was a great experience performing the tea ceremony.

We both enjoyed a reward trip to San Francisco and got to see some family along the way.  Steve loves his new family and the cooking, including the homemade Pho, special pheasant and duck.  We got to see David and Kelly for a couple days.  The weather in SFO was the two best days of the year according to the locals.

We finally made it to Cape Cod and stayed with a friend at their beach house in Dennis, what a nice getaway.  Steve learned how to catch Bass... and he did many times, just across the street from our condo at the Charles.  We also got to see Karen, Yum's sister in Denver and took in the Coors Tour in Golden.

We really missed our family in Hawaii since we did not have a chance to get there this year.  We are ready for a trip back in 2005.  It was nice to see them at the wedding.

The Steve and Yum lucky charm seems to be in full force.  Since our move to Boston the Patriots have had two Superbowls, Harvard had a perfect season and the Red Sox won the World Series.  Nice!

We are looking forward to the coming year and hope you and yours will enjoy the holidays and some well deserved rest.

Over the holidays we will be going on a cruise and celebrate New Years on the high seas!  See you when we get back and check back for some pictures.

Thanks for stopping by,

Aloha!  Yum and Steve
